Based on the rarely explored Polar Bear Expedition of 1918–1919, Armed Tiger Delta tells the story of American soldiers sent to continue fighting after World War I had supposedly ended  in a conflict history largely forgot.

MAIN CHARACTERS

JOHN (45):
A hardened American officer from Detroit who is demoted to Private before a critical mission to conceal his true importance if captured. Haunted by war and struggling with faith, John must decide what kind of man he is when stripped of rank, certainty, and hope.

SAMUEL (18):
A young and inexperienced soldier whose idealism slowly transforms into courage as he witnesses the true cost of survival and sacrifice.

PETYR (41):
An intelligent and ruthless Bolshevik officer desperate to obtain the Allied railway codes before his own wife and daughters are executed by his superiors.

SYNOPSIS

Set during the forgotten Allied Intervention in North Russia, Armed Tiger Delta follows Captain John, an American officer protecting a secret railway code system capable of saving thousands of Allied soldiers. Before the mission, General Riley demotes John to Private to conceal his importance if captured.

After an ambush near Pinega, John and several survivors are taken to a brutal Bolshevik POW camp. When a chaplain is killed during the attack, John takes the man’s collar and Bible, hides a razor blade inside the seam, and poses as a priest to conceal the truth: he alone knows the codes tied to the phrase “Armed Tiger Delta.”

Inside the camp, prisoners are tortured and executed as Petyr, a ruthless Bolshevik officer desperate to save his own family, tries to force the codes from John. As executions loom and a coordinated Allied assault approaches, John’s faith begins to fracture and reform under the weight of impossible choices.

During the rescue attempt, John finally embraces the role of the chaplain he spent the film rejecting. Mortally wounded and surrounded, he sacrifices himself with a grenade to save young private Samuel and complete the mission. Before dying, John whispers the final coded words into Samuel’s ear.

Terrified but transformed, Samuel transmits the full sequence across the battlefield, redirecting Allied artillery and saving thousands of trapped soldiers. Years later, Samuel and John’s wife Beth honor the forgotten dead at Detroit’s Polar Bear Memorial while John’s broken trench watch remains frozen at nine minutes — the countdown that changed everything.
